Hydrangea Varieties

The Nursery has just ordered the following varieties of Hydrangea which will be available for sale from late Spring/early Summer.

Hydrangea cultivars available for sale are all deciduous shrubs, grown mainly for their large showy flower heads from early summer to early autumn. Known as ‘Good Doers’ they are easy to grow and are ideally suited to either border or container planting. Flower colour is affected by pH with blue flowers requiring acid soil often turning pink or purple in alkaline conditions. White hydrangeas as a rule
are not affected by pH.
